Organic Marketing On TikTok Is A Gamechanger

If you are a celebrity who can create a good product, the odds are already leaning in your favor. But if you are a celebrity who can create a good product AND it goes viral on TikTok, you better build some bigger warehouses. But seriously, it's no secret that TikTok has become one of the most important social platforms to leverage when it comes to product marketing over the past few years. If your brand isn't partnering with TikTok influencers to get your name out there, it might be time to start. Don't get me wrong though, I know that being Harry Styles or Rihanna already helps your chances at success when launching a brand or product.

All that being said, a product isn't subject to the TikTok famous act of "gatekeeping" just because it is attached to a celebrity name. It must be pretty good right? In this blog, Hollywood Branded shares 5 viral celebrity brands that are taking over TikTok.

Celebrity Brands That Are Taking Over TikTok

Selena Gomez - Rare Beauty

In case haven't heard (do you live under a rock?), Selena Gomez's makeup brand, Rare Beauty, has been frequenting the For You page of pretty much every makeup-loving individual for the past few months. Even though the brand only launched less than 2 years ago, it has become wildly popular among those who may not even know who Selena Gomez is (again, do you live under a rock?). Recently, the brand's liquid blush has become its most popular item with thousands of comment sections full of beauty influencer wannabes begging for Mikayla Nogueira's beautifully sunkissed skin secrets. With the clearly impressive product partnered with the reasonable price tag, it's no surprise that it's nearly always sold out and has made Rare Beauty a household name in the makeup community.

All that being said, have you ever seen an ad for Rare Beauty on TikTok? No? Me neither! Exactly, this brand has blown up on TikTok purely based on the love that people have for their products, which bleeds into others' desire to try their products.

Kim Kardashian - SKIMS

Okay, Miss Kim Kardashian. We get it, she knows what people want and she makes it. She did it with KKW Beauty and she's back at it with Skims. Haven't heard of it? Well, let me catch you up. It's comfortable shapewear that doubles as athlesiure pieces that you can easily layer to look good in any scenario. Yes, it truly does it all. And the people of TikTok know it too. I don't know about you, but my For You page these days consists of about 50% get ready with me videos and Skims has comfortably nestled itself right into the genre. Recently, the sculpting bodysuits have been among the most popular pieces because of their versatility (and effectiveness in achieving the snatched waist aesthetic). Personally, I love the brown bodysuit and light-washed denim look that has been a fan favorite when it comes to Skims shapewear reviews.

Rihanna - Savage X Fenty

Yes, I already know we aren't shocked about this one. Everything Miss Rihanna creates is a smash, never a pass, and her lingerie and intimate brand are no different. Even though the brand has been around since 2018, it has been making a recent comeback on TikTok with its comfortable and stylish options for all sizes (up to 4x!). And of course, with Rihanna's gorgeous maternity photos in a range of her own products, anyone would want a chance to try on some of these sexy pieces.

Not only has RiRi's lingerie company been blowing up on the platform, but Fenty Beauty has been garnering some new attention with the launch of their new Cherry Treat Conditioning Lip Oil. Not only because Fenty Beauty pops off pretty much every time, but because many are claiming it to be a dupe to the Dior lip oil. Rihanna seems to be doing it all right these days and TikTok is paying attention.

Khloe Kardashian - Good American

Another Kardashian Sister taking over TikTok, maybe you could pair Khloe's jeans with Kim's shapewear! Once again, another brand is taking over for not only being size inclusive but actually fitting comfortably and looking good on plus-sized bodies! Because of Khloe's past insecurities and issues with finding clothes she loved on her body, she wanted to create a denim brand that eliminated that issue for other plus-sized and curvy women. And it worked! Curvy and plus-sized women all over TikTok are gushing over the way Good American jeans fit their bodies differently than any other brand.

Harry Styles - Pleasing

Woohoo! The man of the hour! Sir Harry Styles with his gorgeous self, gorgeous nails, and gorgeous packaging. I'm going to be honest, I don't know if this brand has gone viral because of the products, or simply because everyone wants to be able to say they wear the same nail polish as Harry Styles. Either way, Harry Styles lovers have taken over TikTok with their love for his polishes, serums, and body oils. Now I just need him to release some Harry Styles-inspired rings and I'll be set.
