How Much Does A Brand Influencer Cost For A Single Post?

The question we get asked the most is how muchan influencer social media post costs.  And there are a lot of different factors that impact that cost.  A single post with someone may range from $5,000 to $1 million -  just based on who the celebrity or influencer is.

Working with influencers for social media posts, as well as having them attend brand events or even hiring them for full media advertising campaign build outs is becoming more and more popular as brands look for new ways to engage consumers.

Basically, it depends on what the influencer has to do. The more the ask, the higher the fee.  It also has to do a lot with exclusivity.  Even if your brand is OK with the influencer working with other competitor brands - those competitors might not be as interested in hiring the same influencer if they've worked with you - which means your price tag is going to go up.

Really what is most important is that before you start outreaching directly to influencers you need to have a game plan in place, so that you know your asks before you start negotiating rates.  Anything asked as an add-on to the negotiated campaign is going to come with more dollars attached. And realize that brands ARE paying for social influencers now.  If someone has built their own brand to have a high follower base, there IS value.  The influencer seemingly knows what they are doing to engage their own fan base, and the goal is for them to know how to help you engage them as well.  That is what you are paying for.
