Pickle What?

If you're new to Pickleball don't worry; here's everything you need to know! It's not a new sport per say, as it was started in 1965 by Joel Pritchard, a former Congressman from Washington State, and  his friends, Bill Bell, and Barney McCallum, and their families. They created the sport on Bainbridge Island to keep their families entertained during the summer months. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis and it's played on a court that's smaller than a tennis court, and with a lower net. The players use a perforated plastic ball and paddles smaller than tennis racquets. Usually, a Pickleball match ends at 11 points as long as the winning team wins by more than 2.
