1. Katy Perry
Katy Perry started designing shoes back in 2016. With 39 different products and every type of shoe, Katy continues to ‘wow’ with her imaginative designs. While there is something out there for everyone, her shoes are known for their ostentatious, artistic flare. Though she mainly focuses on footwear, she has also ventured into the realm of handbags and offers a few chic options. Her products range in price from $15 flip-flops to $159 boots.
2. Drew House
Drew House is a fashion brand owned by Justin Bieber. The brand released its first products in 2018 with mainly word-of-mouth promotion and sold out quickly. Drew House sells everything from masks to corduroy pants. Many of the products are clad with the Drew House logo, a smiley face that has the word “Drew” in the place of its mouth. Most of the clothing follows a skater, grunge style, and ranges from $12 to $198.
3. Rare Beauty
Rare Beauty is a beauty company founded by Selena Gomez in 2020. The brand is all about embracing uniqueness and helping people feel comfortable in their own skin. The company focuses on mental health and raises money to help make mental health support accessible to people who need it. The makeup brand is also moving towards sustainability, as it is completely vegan, and uses recycled packaging.
4. Fenty Beauty
A more well known musician-run makeup brand is Fenty Beauty, founded by Rihanna in 2017. All creations are based around the thought that, “makeup is there for you to play with. It’s there for you to have fun with. It should never feel like pressure, and it should never feel like a uniform.” (quote by Rihanna). Fenty Skin, a skincare branch off, was launched in 2020. Rihanna’s skincare products are cruelty-free, vegan, and refillable!
5. Yeezy
Founded in an Adidas partnership with Kanye West, Yeezy shoes (coined from one of Kanye’s nicknames, Kanyeezy) are most well known for their exclusivity and high price tag. The rarity of each shoe drives the price up as owners buy, and resell their Yeezys! A single pair of these luxury shoes can cost thousands of dollars. One of the most expensive pairs was the Nike Air Yeezy 2 SP ‘Red October’ priced at $11,400! Yeezy has been presenting in numerous fashion shows including New York and Paris Fashion week since 2011.
6. Haus Laboratories
Haus Laboratories is yet another vegan and cruelty-free makeup brand created by an A-List celebrity. Lady Gaga founded this brand in 2019 with a major focus on inspiring people to be bold and express themselves. Many of her products are bright and shimmery which accurately represents Gaga’s bold and unapologetic outlook. When explaining her ideas behind her beauty brand and goal to inspire, Lady Gaga said, “Sometimes beauty doesn’t come naturally from within. But I’m so grateful that makeup inspired a bravery in me I didn’t know I had. I’ve come to accept that I discovered my beauty by having the ability to invent myself and transform. They said I was weird, but really, I was just Born This Way.”
7. Christina Aguilera Perfume
Christina Aguilera Perfume was rated the No.1 Celebrity Brand in 2018 and has received a total of 13 other awards. At this point, Aguilera has 11 different perfume scents, some of which are not available for purchase in the U.S. Her newest scent, Eau So Beautiful, released in 2020, is a mix of many intriguing scents including wild strawberry, sandalwood, and violet leaf!
8. Keys Soulcare
Keys Soulcare is primarily a skincare brand made by Alicia Keys. Keys Soulcare has many different skincare products, but also ventures into the realm of other self-care products, such as scented candles. The website features tons of articles to help with self-care - some how-tos and some deep and thoughtful messages.
Alicia stopped wearing makeup back in 2016! She says that it is her “one wish that every soul experiences these moments of self-love and acceptance so that we can all shine brighter together.” She hopes to emphasize the connection between skin and soul with her brand.
9. Celine Dion + Nununu
Celine Dion has designed a line of Nununu clothing. Nununu clothing is for kids ages 0-14 focused on transcending gender norms. All of the clothing has an edgy and alternative vibe, and are meant to empower youth. The clothing is gender-neutral, and some consider it quite controversial. Her clothing line was announced in her short film - Celinununu. 10. About-Face
About-Face is a new makeup brand made by Halsey this year. She has positioned her company as chaotic and eclectic, emphasizing improving every version of yourself. Although very new, many of the About-Face products are almost sold out! Halsey herself has had a hard-core, edgy style, flaunting experimental hairstyles, and unique fashion. Much of her inspiration for what she does comes from her hard times spent in homeless shelters as a teen, openly battling with bipolar disorder, and wanting to help others like her. Halsey serves as an inspiration to all of her fans!
11. Good Dye Young
Back in 2016, punk princess Hayley Williams released her own line of hair dye, Good Dye Young, with none other than celebrity hairstylist Brian J. O'Connor. Aside from having killer talent and leading one of the best bands known to man, Hayley is known for sporting colorful, crazy locks, and in fact, Brian was actually the mastermind behind Hayley's famous, fire-y look. That being said, this collab makes sense. I mean, if you want "out-there" hair, these two are the perfect peeps to go to!
What's great about this brand is that not only is it Paramore approved, but it's creulty-free and vegan-friendly. In addition, most, if not all, of their hair color products are semi-permanent. So, if you want Hayley's hair but are nervous to commit, the effects are only temporary!
12. Barker's Wellness
A few months ago, Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, released a line of cannabis infused products, called Barker's Wellness, to help people rest-up and relax. Travis claims that cannabis allowed him get through those sleepless nights of constant touring, and he wants to help others do the same. His line features tinctures, "snap packets," and pain relief creams.

13. Pharrell Williams' Human Race
For Pharrell Williams, aging is not a thing. I mean, he's looked the exact same for the past however-many-years. That being said, in 2020, he launched his own skin-care line, Human Race, to give us all the secrets to his wonderful, wrinkle-free skin. His products are all vegan, fragrance-free, and cruelty-free, and he uses ingredients that are in accord with EU restrictions. His line is also eco-friendly, as Human Race allows customers to refill their product, instead of buying a new container.

14. October's Very Own
After creating the record label OVO Sound in 2012, Drake and his tour manager Oliver El-Khatib, decided to expand the OVO brand and create a clothing line. October's Very Own clothing became a massive hit—especially in Canada. In fact, they collaborated with two, massively successful Canadian-owned clothing brands, such as Roots and Canada Goose. They've opened-up shops in multiple locations, such as Toronto, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and many more.
15. J.Lo Beauty
Like many other celebs, J.Lo has decided to dabble in the skincare industry. On January 1st, 2021, the latin superstar kicked off the new year by sharing her beauty secrets and releasing J.Lo Beauty. A key ingredient in her line is olive oil, as according to J.Lo, olive oil is "liquid gold." It's helped her ward away wrinkles, and keep her youthful skin.
16. R.E.M. Beauty
If you think you've had enough of musician-owned makeup brands, think again! Ariana Grande has followed the footsteps of Lady Gaga and Rihanna, as on November 12th, 2020, the songstress debuted her own line of beauty products, titled R.E.M. Beauty. Her line was met with mostly positive reviews, and makeup gurus such as Manny MUA, NikkieTutorials, and Robert Welsh rushed to give in their two-cents.
